The leaves are out in full color and what a great time to book a portrait session for your Class of 2018 Senior! I have a few sessions available in November and December. If you want to start thinking ahead, we are also starting to book sessions for Spring 2018. The senior year flies by with many “last” celebrations. Take time out for what’s important: capturing these moments in images before they leave high school. You’ll be glad you did! Let me share images of my recent senior sessions so you can see the possibilities!
The leaves are beginning to turn and there is a chill in the air. Finally! We are keeping busy at Nanine Hartzenbusch Photography photographing families, seniors, little ones and business portraits. In the next few weeks, I’ll be writing about each of these portrait sessions and showing you some fun images and how they can be used.
Think about installing a family portrait wall! Or have me design a custom holiday card to send to your cherished friends and family. It’s hard to believe that we are almost a month away from the start of Spring. Soon enough our landscapes will be awash in green and colorful blossoms. Charlotte area friends, please join me on Sunday April 17 at the McGill Rose Garden as I photograph ten families to benefit The Lunch Project, a Charlotte-based philanthropic organization that gives kids the fuel to learn — by providing hot lunches to Tanzanian school children and inspiring service in all children. Each portrait session will represent one day of hot lunches for the Lemanyata and Engorika schools, $85 provides for 900 lunches!
This will be my fifth year offering portrait mini-sessions! Our 15 minute sessions will produce a set of portraits just in time for Mother’s Day. Each participant will receive a matted gift print, nicely packaged in a pear green signature box with organza ribbon, suitable for framing or giving as a gift to the special Moms in your life. The McGill Rose garden is a magical setting and provides a perfect backdrop for your beautiful family, sibling or child portrait. Nanine brings her 25+ years experience as a photojournalist, photo editor, educator and community volunteer to you. Please contact Nanine Hartzenbusch at email@example.com to book your appointment. Sessions take place at the McGill Rose Garden between 3 pm and 6 pm, but must be booked in advance. I hope to see you Sunday April 17 !!
I was so honored to photograph my friend’s daughter to celebrate her graduation from high school. We had a great time, and the garden provided a beautiful and relaxing setting. We came away with a set of portraits that will be cherished for years to come. Thank you for the opportunity to spend time with you, we had so much fun! Congratulations on your graduation and best wishes as you start your college years! And here are some of our favorites from our garden portrait session ~
Today is Mother’s Day – a day to honor all mothers. I wish you all a happy day! Last month, we celebrated a little early, with an afternoon of mini-portrait sessions to benefit The Lunch Project, at the McGill Rose Garden. For three years we have been photographing beautiful families in a lovely urban garden to support The Lunch Project. We raised $850, which supports ten days of lunches for the school children in Lemanyata School in Arusha, Tanzania ~ 9000 lunches!
I am so honored to support The Lunch Project and all my wonderful friends that are volunteering in so many ways to build this philanthropic effort. And I am thankful. Many thanks to Rebecca Wofford for having the vision and courage to start The Lunch Project; to Kate Hindin for her tremendous support and good cheer; to Karisa Pennell who makes it possible for us to hold our event at the McGill Rose Garden; and to my sweet family ~ with me every step of the way. And last but not least, thank you to all the families that participated in our mini portrait sessions. We had so much fun ~ and here are some images from our special day:
Congratulations, mom and dad, the moment you have been waiting for has finally arrived! Your child will be graduating from high school and there is so much to celebrate! Consider booking a portrait session to honor your child at this very special time in their life. This may also be a great time to photograph the whole family. You’ll want to supplement the standard school photos to celebrate this milestone with unique images. Fall or Spring are great seasons for outdoor portraits. I love photographing seniors ~ it’s such an exciting time and I enjoy bringing out the best in each of them. Along with your wall portraits, you’ll want some beautiful custom designed graduation announcements. Here is a sneak peek of what I’ve been up to ~ As always, designs may be customized to produce a unique keepsake and announce your special news! ~ So please contact me to book your senior portrait session at 704.909.9963 OR send me an email ~ firstname.lastname@example.org ~ I would love to hear from you!
