I had so much fun photographing my good friend’s daughter at Hampton Station in West Greenville this summer. What a fun setting it was for outdoor portraits. After a summer working as a girls’ camp counselor, she has started her freshman year at Wake Forest University!  A member of South Mecklenburg’s Class of 2020, she, along with her fellow graduates had a most unusual senior year due to the Covid-19 school closures. It was not the senior year they had imagined, by a long shot, but she is off to new horizons. To honor this milestone, we celebrated with a senior portrait session in a fun location. The light was soft and pretty, and we had a variety of backgrounds to work with. She brought a couple of clothing changes to incorporate a pretty dress and her university t-shirt (Go Deacs!) Best wishes for a fun, safe and healthy freshman year. And best wishes to your parents who are now new empty nesters. My heart is with you all!
