It’s hard to imagine the fragrance of roses with snow in our future, but before we know it spring will show her beautiful blooms. For a third year in a row I’ll be offering mini-portrait sessions at the McGill Rose Garden to benefit The Lunch Project, a Charlotte based philanthropic organization.
In honor of Mother’s Day, I will be offering 15 minute mini-portrait sessions to families and children on Sunday April 6, from 3-6 pm. The sessions are $100 and $85 from each session will be directly donated to The Lunch Project in your name (to cover the cost of feeding a hot lunch to the entire school!) Each participant will receive a gift print, just in time for Mother’s Day (May 11).
The Lunch Project has a simple goal – to give children the fuel to learn. The Lunch Project also works to inspire service in elementary school children in the U.S and aspires to be a platform for child philanthropy for global hunger relief in the schools. For several years, The Lunch Project has supported the Lemanyata Primary School near Arusha Town in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania with regular hot lunches. Recently, the model of The Lunch Project was adopted by Matimu Primary School in the Arusha District.
Please mark your calendars for Sunday afternoon April 6 ~ and email me with your preferred time ~ nanine@naninephoto.com. I look forward to working with you and your families to benefit Tanzanian school children!
